Congratulations on your acquisition of an Alfajr timepiece. Each Alfajr watch and clock you purchase along with the warranty card is covered by Alfajr warranty subject to terms and conditions set out herein.

Warranty duration

The warranty period is mentioned in the warranty card accompanying each Alfajr watch and clock and the warranty is limited to Alfajr products purchased in India from authorized dealers. The warranty covers free services for manufacturing defects during the warranty period for Alfajr watches and clocks. The nominal warranty period, unless otherwise stated in the warranty card that comes along with your purchase, is 2 years from date of invoice and covers all manufacturing defects except for exclusions as described here below. Out of warranty products shall be repaired on a chargeable basis.

Free repairs during warranty

As a proud owner of Alfajr watch or clock you are eligible for free repairs to the timepiece during the period of warranty provided and subject to the following terms:

  • Warranty is available only to the original buyer and not to subsequent buyers, even if such sale/purchase has taken place within the warranty period.
  • The watch or clock with manufacturing defect is presented to our authorized dealer or service center for repairs or sent duly post paid along with proof of purchase and the warranty card filled in with your details. The warranty card will be accepted only if the barcode, date of purchase, invoice, dealer’s signature and stamp are present therein.
  • Alfajr shall, at its discretion, repair your Alfajr watch or clock using genuine parts or reconditioned/replacement parts and test it before delivery to you.
  • Alfajr, may, at its discretion, replace the clock or watch, within the warranty period provided it is not covered by exclusions and provided the timepiece is not otherwise repairable and provided the authorized service center certifies in a written report that the product is eligible for replacement.
  • Owner of Alfajr watch or clock must pack product carefully and include the invoice and warranty card in original and a written letter stating nature of defect and sent through courier to the nearest service station if owner is not able to visit in person.
  • The decision of the authorized Alfajr service centre shall be final and binding. 

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage or defect caused by water, improper use, mis-handling, negligence or damage during transport;
  • Batteries, band, strap, glass and case are not covered by the warranty;
  • Discoloration, scratches and fading of printed lettering are not covered by the warranty
  • Damage due to earthquake, fire, floods and other natural causes or intentional damage are not covered by the warranty
  • Alfajr and its service centres are not liable for any damage in transit when you send the product to us through courier or when we return it through courier.
